Community Residential Services Association

Community Residential Services Association (CRSA) is a membership organization of community-based residential service providers throughout Washington. CRSA efforts are focused on advocacy, developing and facilitating partnerships, and providing education and training to enhance the professional expertise of service providers. CRSA's vision is for members to be the providers of choice for individuals with developmental disabilities, providing opportunities to live, work, and prosper in communities of their choice.

Scott Livengood, CEO of Alpha Supported Living Services, has served as the Chair of the Community Residential Services Association in the past, and currently serves in a leadership role as Co-Chair of both the Legislative and Education Committees.

As part of the 2009 legislative session, the Washington State Legislature commissioned a study of the feasibility of reducing 250 beds at the state developmental disabilities Residential Habilitation Centers (RHCs). The RHC Closure Report was completed and submitted to the Office of Financial Management by local consulting firm, Davis Deshaies, LLC. The Community Residential Services Association fully supports implementing the recommendations of the report, which can be found here:
